Meet the Founder

North 48°® Clothing Co is an independent, woman-founded apparel brand built for life's rugged adventures and cozy coastal moments. Founded in 2021 by Leslie Woods Meyers, the brand is the realization of a long, patient 2.5-year journey to secure a federal registered trademark, which officially came through in March of this year.

No stranger to the East Coast creative business scene, she has spent two decades designing, hand-crafting, and storytelling for Canadian families. She is also the solo founder behind My Painted Porch (her 20-year-old vintage home decor and sign brand) and Designing Scarlett (her 5-year-old custom keepsake and heirloom studio). Beyond her product design, Leslie’s 50-year musical career as a singer-songwriter includes producing radio singles from her attic and sharing the stage with legendary Canadian blues artists like Dutch Mason, and Tom Stephen of the Jeff Healey Band.
